Why We Worry
Worries are an omnipresent chain of ideas—you can neither escape nor break away from them. Taken as the starting point of this exhibition, the group show highlighted the personal anxieties of young artists.

Staged in Riga, Lativa during the economic downturn of 2009, the exhibition was centered around Swiss artists and their anxieties, which were no doubt different from those of their Latvian contemporaries. Social conventions were thereby analyzed against the background of critical and self-reflexive work.
What happens when the obligation to perform ceases to exist? Will this lead to chaos, disruption and erosion of meaning? These are the questions the works ponder.Information
